Help shape social housing policy

Residents who live in social housing are being encouraged to contribute to a national survey set up by the Government as part of an exercise to hear about issues and concerns with social housing, and to gain an understanding of how to ensure a more effective voice for tenants.

The survey takes just 15 minutes to complete and comprises of 25 questions. You can request that your responses remain confidential. The closing date is 31 January 2018.

As well as gathering feedback through the survey, Housing Minister Alok Sharma has also been holding events with social tenants across England with a view to building a comprehensive picture of the issues tenants raise about social housing, and to identify common concerns and good practice that can inform the national approach to tenant engagement in future.

The views gathered will inform draft legislation on social housing, which the Government aims to publish in spring 2018.
