As part of our corporate strategy commitment ‘to create thriving communities’, £5,000 will be available each quarter to fund projects on our estates and blocks that encourage a sense of community and improve resident involvement.
Eligible projects will foster community spirit or improve the wellbeing of residents. Examples might be:
- Improvement of communal spaces
- Introduction of safety or security equipment to help reduce crime or anti-social behaviour
- Parking area improvements
- Provision of bicycle racks
- Replacement of boundary fencing/walls
The funding can be used for one project or multiple projects depending on the proposals submitted in each quarter.
Application Process and Dates
Applications for funding will be made by Property Management Officers on behalf of a scheme. They will be required to submit an application form and prepare a short presentation for review by our Senior Management Team.
Three projects were awarded funding in the first round of applications in May 2021, and we’re really looking forward to seeing their progress over the coming months.
