Are you a resident aged 18 or over and living in Southwark?
As we progress with construction works on the Aylesbury Estate in South East London, there will be a number of exciting apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities over the next few months.
All roles will be for a minimum of six months and both apprentices and trainees will be supported to complete an accredited qualification during this time.
The roles will be paid at 25% above the National Minimum Wage. Roles will be available in a range of different trades and professions and you would be working for one of our building contractors: Hill on the First Development Site or Vistry Partnerships on Plot 18.
Hill currently have two trainee plumbers and one trainee bricklayer working with their mechanical subcontractor on the First Development Site. The apprentices have been provided with PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), along with a small hand tool kit.
Hill also have two office-based apprentices working as document controllers. They joined Hill at the end of last year and are also based on the First Development Site.
All are employed through Hill's supply chain, and we are looking to recruit more apprentices across various trades.
Although the first development construction site remains closed at this time and active recruitment is on hold currently due to Covid-19, we are still keen to hear from anyone interested so that we can get in touch as soon as the restrictions are lifted.
