We continue to make strong and sustained progress across all workstreams in the Regulatory Compliance Plan. Delivery this quarter has been independently assured, with our Q4 internal audit of the RCP milestones returning an ‘all green’ outcome, providing full assurance that stated actions have been completed as planned. A number of workstreams are now fully complete, and progress in others demonstrates clear trajectory towards ongoing compliance and improved outcomes for residents.
Some key achievements this quarter are:
- Completion of the financial governance workstream, with final external assurance confirming that we are meeting the financial governance requirements of the regulatory standards.
- Further strengthening of board and committee oversight, including the appointment of a new People, Culture and Governance Committee Chair and Non‑Executive Director, alongside good progress in recruiting to forthcoming board and committee vacancies to ensure the right skills and experience are in place.
- Delivery of a significant set of milestones under the risk and controls framework, including approval of refreshed enterprise risk and assurance frameworks, completion of KPI‑to‑KRI mapping, and independent internal audit assurance confirming the effectiveness of our risk management arrangements.
- All actions completed for the third‑party managed buildings workstream, supported by external assurance confirming that our policies, processes and oversight arrangements are robust and meet regulatory expectations.
- Continued progress in building safety, with a sustained reduction in overdue fire risk actions and 93.8% of buildings now holding an in‑date fire risk assessment with no overdue actions.
- Substantial improvement in stock condition data, with 88.2% of homes now surveyed in the last five years, exceeding both annual and Regulatory Compliance Plan targets.
- Ongoing embedding of reforms across repairs, complaints, resident engagement and people and culture, including the mobilisation of new repairs contracts, sustained improvement in complaints handling performance, strengthened resident involvement arrangements, and continued focus on organisational culture and colleague engagement.
