We’re looking for residents to run for the Notting Hill Genesis Hardship Fund in the London 2025 marathon as part of our ‘run for your place’ campaign.
Each year we have places for the marathon for runners to raise money for the Hardship Fund, which is used to help our residents most in need. In the past we’ve had a mix of staff and contractors run for us and it’s always a fantastic event.
We need you
This year, we want to get residents involved focussing on the following five estates:
- Oaklands Rise (Willesden Junction)
- Manor Place (Elephant and Castle)
- Peckham Place
- Stratford Halo
- Porters Edge (Canada Water)
We’ll be organising a whole host of events in the lead-up to the big day to help fundraising and bring runners together to help keep up motivation.
Fundraising activities
You will not be alone! Our places and estates team will be here to help you every step of the way with training plans and fundraising events. We know the thought of signing up can be daunting so we have someone who’s working with each estate to make sure residents feel supported throughout their marathon journey.
We’re planning on a whole host of fundraising activities and events which’ll help you smash your targets – keep an eye out on this page which we’ll update regularly with all the latest news.
How much do I need to raise?
The minimum amount you need to raise to run the marathon for us is £1,600 and the registration fee is £100.
