The Resident Forum is here to make sure your voice is heard. We work together to share feedback, offer insights, and push for positive change at Notting Hill Genesis (NHG), all with the goal of making sure every resident has a decent, safe and secure home.
Our forum members have been carefully chosen to reflect the diversity of the NHG resident community. They bring a wide range of experiences and perspectives, and importantly, it’s the forum itself that decides what issues to focus on.
We do this by looking closely at how NHG delivers services to residents, like how repairs are handled or how complaints are resolved. Based on what we find, we make recommendations and sometimes stay involved in projects to help make sure improvements happen.
The forum meets formally six times a year, and also works in smaller subgroups between meetings. These subgroups are a great way for more residents to get involved, and we’re always looking for new voices to join us.
We’ll soon be sharing our focus areas for the next 12 months, and we’d love to hear from anyone interested in helping shape the work we do.
Together we can make a difference
We’re the bridge between residents and NHG, and we’re here to make sure your views lead to action.

Our purpose
We are independent but part of NHG’s formal governance, where our role is described in three headlines:- To connect resident experiences to the board ensuring they listen, act and respond to feedback.
- To recommend service improvement projects informed by the scrutiny of performance data and resident insight and feedback.
- To provide oversight and assess the impact of the Resident Involvement and Engagement Programme.
Our terms of reference are currently being finalised and will be published soon. Please check back shortly to read more about how the Resident Forum works and what guides our approach.
