This community-based team provide assessments, intervention work, consultation, support and practical advice regarding childcare. There is also guidance and support for young carers and families. There is also protection for children. The aim of this service is to ensure children are safeguarded and that, whenever possible, children remain with their families and support is offered to reduce the risk of family breakdown.
