Earlier this year our partners Equans held a golf fundraiser with all money raised going towards our Hardship Fund.
Equans organised the event as part of their social value plan, as the ability to add social value is something we require as part of our assets procurement exercises.
A sensational day was spent at Aldenham Golf and Country Club in Watford. A whopping 18 teams took part, competing for top spot whilst raising funds to help households at times of need and support community-building events.
Our contactors including RGE services, The AD Group, Bugler Group, Heron Joinery all helped out on the day. Each team paid £600 to play, or had the option of upgrading and paying £1k which included sponsorship of a hole.
Raffle tickets were also being sold throughout the day. There were some amazing prizes going including club level tickets to see England versus Australia at Wembley and four tickets to watch Arsenal play Seville in the Champions League. The day was rounded off nicely with a delicious three course meal.
