Celebrating our incredible London Marathon team

We are thrilled to share highlights from an unforgettable day at this year’s London Marathon.

A huge thank you to all the amazing runners who took part on behalf of our organisation, raising vital funds for our Hardship Fund, which provides crucial support to residents facing times of crisis. Their dedication and effort embody the very best of what we stand for – community, resilience, and care.

A special thanks goes to our incredible staff runners who not only trained hard and gave it their all on the day but also proudly represented us to the thousands of spectators and supporters across London. You have made us all proud!

Abdul Khalique captured the spirit of the day perfectly saying: “I was nervous at the start, it was hot. I was in pain after 17 miles, but the crowds, my work colleagues, friends, and family really encouraged me to get to the finish line. I still can’t believe I did it and for such a great cause, thank you Notting Hill Genesis for this opportunity!”

This year, we were pleased to work alongside the places and estates teams to expand involvement by recruiting resident runners. It was fantastic to see residents embracing the challenge and running to support their fellow community members. Thank you to every resident who joined our cause – your commitment made a real difference.

Jessica Greef one of our resident runners said: “Running the marathon was tough, but I was tougher!” Her words perfectly sum up the resilience and spirit shown by all who took part.
