The three sites that make up NHG’s Hackney Wick development are located on either side of the Overground station but across two boroughs: one to the north in Hackney and two to the south in Tower Hamlets. The London Legacy Development Corporation selected NHG to develop a cohesive mixed-use scheme within an overarching local masterplan.

We are working closely with the LLDC to deliver a high-quality development that responds to local needs and supports the objective of a transformative physical legacy for communities around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The development includes 190 new homes, all of which we are delivering as affordable housing along with 4,500m² of retail, commercial, community and low-cost workspace. A new square in front of the station and a north-south route for pedestrians and cyclists will improve the public realm, station access and sustainable transport. Construction is under way, with all homes and non-residential premises due to complete in 2026.
