We continue to make great progress on the Together with Tenants charter, which we adopted in May 2021 with the aim of strengthening our relationship with residents.
Two years on, that momentum is ensuring we carry on meeting the commitments we signed up to, on issues such as accountability, quality, what happens when things go wrong, and more.
Much of this work goes hand-in-hand with our new Better Together strategy, which builds on what residents have told us matter the most to them and outlines how we will make sure their priorities are taken on board so we can provide the best possible service.
Some key changes we have made to support the charter include:
- Ensuring a high percentage of our resident involvement activities link to at least three of the charter commitments (relationships; communication; voice and influence; accountability; quality and when things go wrong)
- Introducing a revised resident involvement offer, while introducing a new head of resident engagement role
- A new resident involvement bulletin, aimed at keeping residents up to date about forthcoming opportunities, recent successes and useful information
