One of our directors has earned a place on the prestigious Leadership 2025 programme aimed at developing the BAME leaders of the future.
On Monday afternoon, Wasiu Fadahunsi joined colleagues from across the housing sector for the online launch of the latest Leadership 2025 programme.
Wasiu, an investment finance director at Notting Hill Genesis, is part of the fourth cohort for this intensive leadership and development programme for senior leaders from BAME backgrounds who work in the housing sector.
This highly-regarded programme aims to support and empower BAME senior professionals to become leaders for the future and to positively disrupt the sector by challenging current perceptions and promoting diversity as something that’s good for business. It will involve nine months of hard work but we’re sure Wasiu will relish the challenge and gain from it as did the previous NHG participant in the programme, our procurement director Sandip Shergill.
Leadership 2025 is just one of several initiatives that Notting Hill Genesis supports to increase diversity in senior management of our organisation. These include the G15 Accelerate programme, Leadership NOW, and our internal heads of department development programme, among others.
