Families in need were handed food packages and gifts to make Christmas a bit easier, thanks to generous donations from Notting Hill Genesis staff and Cardinal Vaughan School in Kensington.
Our volunteer network went out to hostels and refuges in the lead up to the festive period to drop off bags of presents from our staff Christmas gift appeal.
Staff also took part in a cash donation scheme which raised enough to buy gifts for a further 100 service users.
In addition to the staff gift appeal, we delivered food to a number of local services used by residents. We are incredibly grateful to the pupils, parents and staff of Cardinal Vaughan School in Kensington for their generous donations.
Food was taken to the Dalgarno Trust in west London, where it was used in the community kitchen, as well as to St Peter’s Church in Walworth, where it was used to help families in the local area, including the Aylesbury Estate, which we are regenerating.
