NHG develops and acquires homes exclusively in London, and employs a range of strategies to deliver new-build housing. Ensuring economies of scale means that we generally only look for new schemes of at least 50 homes.  

We purchase sites in the capital where we are able to act as sole developer, and we also work with the public sector and other developers to deliver schemes via development agreements or joint venture arrangements.  

We partner extensively with housebuilders and private developers who have Section 106 planning obligations for the delivery of affordable housing, ensuring they meet our high standards for design, construction, fixtures and finishes before taking possession of the completed properties.  

Our in-house redevelopment team works to optimise the existing portfolio by remodelling inefficient buildings and undertaking small infill developments to deliver new and improved homes for our residents. 

Our development and sales teams work closely with client teams from across the organisation to ensure that we deliver tenure-blind homes that meet the needs of future residents – whether they are for social, affordable, intermediate or market rent, shared ownership, or private sale.
