Cheviot Gardens is Lambeth’s first-ever Older Person Shared Ownership scheme. It replaced a collection of older people's homes with updated and more efficient buildings that cater for a wider range of needs and situations.

A series of consultation events were held with residents to help shape our designs and the specifications of the one and two-bedroom homes. Incorporated within the designs was accommodation for those who may need additional support at home. The development features self-contained apartments that benefit from landscaped gardens, a communal lounge, hairdressing salon, activities room and a café, encouraging residents to live independently and comfortably while knowing they can opt in to additional activities and support services as needed.
