Boardwalk
Boardwalk is the transformation of an unused office block into a mixed-tenure development on the banks of the Thames, close to Kew Bridge.
At a glance
The design of the new high street block was inspired by the wharf architecture of traditional river and canal side warehouses, with brick piers punctured by deep-set windows and metal panelling. The block which extends along Goat Wharf uses the same materials in a more contemporary way, with brick and metal framing, glazed angled balconies and generously sized full height windows. Amenity space is provided with a landscaped central piazza offering residents a private courtyard space. The development benefits from fantastic views towards Kew.
